Survival Con advice
\nthis is the fourth time I attend the san diego comicon here is some advice for newbies
\nin the business
\n1.-weapons.-<\/p>\n

-business cards (kinda obvious) you never know who you will ever meet go to the portafolio
\nreview, editors will ask for it if they are interested in your work, and no forget journalists
\nand new people in the business<\/p>\n

Cards must contain your name, e-mail, url of your work(webcomic page, deviant etc) and a little
\ndrawing that represent your work.
\n-flier<\/strong>s, there is a freebie table at the entrance of the con and with many people there (over 140,000) fliers of your
\nwork is a must,if you are a cosplayer no one cant refuse a flier from you.
\nthese must contain great art, your comic tittle and the comic url.<\/p>\n

\nprotip<\/strong>.- ask for the freebie table and get a place on it.<\/p>\n

-portafolios.-<\/strong>
\nwhen the portafolio review site is up<\/a>, the guys who do usual portafolio reviews
\n(dark horse,ape, etc)
\nhave guidelines<\/a> in their sites check them.<\/p>\n

You must have a printed portafolio,some kind of mini giveaway portafolio and several digital copies (cds)
\n-something that worked for me that landed a few gig jobs is having a sketchfolio (a portafolio with napkin sketches
\nand normal sketches)
