“Sidewalks mean nothing to Mexican buses.” I’m beginning to see why you consider your buses so scary.

I was in Ecuador a few years ago for a school-related summer trip a few years ago. We went from town to town in a tour bus. One day we were on our way somewhere when a drunk guy stuck out his hand to try to get the bus to stop. He ended up hitting his hand on the side, then threw his drink at the bus shouting “¿Sabe loco?” Fun times.

Buses are the same way in Spain and Italy. I dare say that I’ve never felt safe on any bus outside the United States. We actually enforce our traffic laws. Thank God!

Nova’s right, but then we have fewer buses than everyone else T_T Everyone’s expected to have a car.. that’s much more dangerous.
