in Mexico Pokemon dp starts at 6 pm.
Lately a lot of succesful webcomics are doing once per week updates maybe I should join them, that would gave the chance to do
better art, shorter arcs and I would have more time to improve my art and get some sleep (kinda hated the art of the comic lately)

You better not do once a week comics. It would make me sad. Please don;t make me sad. * puppy eyes*

I’ve actually found comics doing that don’t evolve much because the author tends to forget about them and whip something up last minute. So i wouldn’t unless you were sure you’d be able to spend that extra time improving.

wonderella, legend of bill, ink pawa, very bad koalas, gastrophobia updates a once per week not counting the comics like dresden Kodak , old octupus pie, vg cats etc that updates whatever they feel like it , nut I must be nice to be able to sleep again.

I find it hard to follow comics that update weekly or less. Well-done weekly strips fall off my reading list before mediocre strips that update more often.

Really, though, you should do what’s best for you.

I wouldn’t mind lesser quality art for more updates. Even if it was black and white. .. or just unshaded.
I’ve always said to myself, twice a week is the MINIMUM, because I want the story to keep going.. but I miss how my old comic was daily, so things would progress very fast and I could just do a little each day.

In the blog I posted, one of my black and white pages , probably would look like that if I did that, plus tones and shades (you know manga style )

I gotta tell you, most of the comics like VG Cats, I stopped going there. It’s still in my bookmarks but I haven’t been there for months…I wonder if updated…probably not.
Still I check for your updates at least twice a day, and I love that about you. But do what you gotta do.
P.S: Is it just me or does anyone hate it when jokes have to be explained? It’s funny and all, but it just makes me go, “Oh I get it.” not Hahaha. You know?

I often just write stuff in my comics to explain.. it’s funnier if it’s obvious.. just words and an arrow (“He’s lying!”)

True, Dresden Codak takes ages to update, i think because he is a bit of a control freak and the quality of his most recent work shows it , but he has an art blog now ( which also doesn´t update frequently) that is also a very enjoyable read.
