I should’ve expected that at some point you would make a plot about a Pokemon battle.
I was just expecting it to be a filler arc or something.

Do you mean that not all players get their cards from the same deck, as in mus (or, say, poker)? That one can go with an all aces deck and another with an all fours, so to say? That’s cheating!

In pokemon, someone could have 4 aces and the challenger could also have 4 aces.

I was half-joking. Never played to poke-what but once I played one of those card games of todays’ kids and won easily (beginners’ luck, I guess). What surprised me is that people are expected to BUY their decks, so poorer or less consumerist people is defeated in principle. I really hate that: it’s totally unfair.
